The whole Bryce Harper/Hunter Strickland plunking and subsequent brawl was pre-arranged by Major League Baseball, as a way to promote their top player on a national stage. For the casual sports fan, everyday baseball is boring unless there is some brawlin’.
Think about it: we’re supposed to believe that the whole thing stems from the fact that Harper hit two home runs off Strickland in a playoff series three seasons ago. Never mind that Strickland’s Giants won that series and went on to win the title as well. And notice how quickly the media jumped to that conclusion.
I was a huge NWA wrestling fan as a youth. I know a “work” when I see one.
Harper plays for the Nationals. I think you meant to say Strickland’s Giants.

The SF gnats are a scumbag organization, no surprise that they plunk a batter.
